A good leader is able to influence their performance to give impact by implementing positive behavioural change. Influencing the others is very important to get the essential result in a teamwork project as its build the awareness of the needa to do the job excellently together to plant the initiative to go forward and the mutual trust in team relationship. Its brings the team a positive vibe to be more hardworking and diligent.
There are many skills and solution to successfully influencing the others such as self-approach or how do you appeals to the others, political savvy, self promotion, trust building and leveraging networks. To influence people in a right way comes naturally as it can be forced and it must be done in a right way. People need to see you as a role model and able to lead with charismatic and enchance personality and perfect character as a leader.
Furthermore, to be a leader it is a compulsory ability to work under pressure and control the others. To keep the surrounding and work environment systematically organised in harmony and effective to avoid chaos. Leader plays in such important role to avoid that thats why it is essential in leadership skill.
It is not to control the mind of people and their personal life decision. It is a way and critical thinking on how to counter the defects and negative things that might affect them resulting in continuos negative performance.
