Assalamualaikum to all reader.Today I’m writing a story on our trip to Gua Batu Maloi Tampin N9.

This trip is organised by our very own beloved lecturer Ma’am Hanim for our Leadership Class’s Project.

Our Class DNS 21 C joined with DNS 24 participating in this event but for DNS 24 this trip is the second time that they went so they already familiar with the route and all.

It was quite and adventure for me and my classmate. Enjoying the outdoor and getting soaked and bruised together. Going up and down hill,crawling inside the cave was a hell of a ride.Most importantly the knowledge that was given by the facilitator and guiders.They were making sure that our trip was safe and secure and all time.

We have a great time as this semester is our last.Like a retreat from all the stressful environment in ALAM.Hope to get another opportunity like this in the future.In shaa Allah.

Chillout, Soulout & Freakout at Batu Maloi Cave

My legs and arms were shaking. Sweat was tripping down my face.  Every step and crawl felt like thousands of needles are sinking into my legs, but above all that, nothing worth experiencing comes easy. 
It was project week for my classmates and I from the Malaysian Maritime Academy, and we happened  to experience our first ever caving adventure at Gua Batu Maloi which is located at a small town called Johol, Negeri Sembilan.

Our adventure at Gua Batu Maloi begun way before we actually reached the cave system. We were required to first trek to the cave. Thought the trail seemed tough, we were very assured that we would be rewarded along the way by the startlingly beautiful foliage, the captivating greenery of the rich rainforest that holds the cave in its embrace. And this magnificent surrounding kept all of us going. 
This cave formed beneath masses of large rocks, with a clear shallow stream lazily making its way around the stoned and boulders that make up the cave floor. The challenges that we had to face consisted of crawling, sliding, climbing and also creeping out of tiny rocks. The narrow and winding passage into the cave can prove to be quite perilous, especially in pitch darkness.

As explained by our caving guide, this cave was a very interesting granite cave formation. The river actually makes this formation from million of years of water flow. You can imagine a dark cave with tiny insects around, and chilling water running above your body while you submerge yourself underwater. 

What made the activity really fun? The fact that we had to squeeze and cram ourselves through small gaps and holes. Looking at the size of the holes that we passed through after struggles, mainly taught us not to underestimate ourselves and to just keep going. Also, we made sure we guarded and had each other’s back because to make sure everyone was safe and sound. 

Risks aside, the 3 hours Batu Maloi Cave exploration trip offered us a challenging and memorable experience for those who dare to enter.

When you consider leadership, and what kinds of things make an extraordinary leader, something that rings the bell is planning. Incredible leaders think of incredible plans. Some record them while some come up with them on the fly. In any case, planning is a significant leadership expertise since it provides guidance on the best way to achieve a goal. 

So how does planning help in leadership?

1. Set Expectations
One of the principle advantages of a plan is that it goes about as a communication device. Individuals will know when they ought to begin something and when they need to have it wrapped up, to know when things will occur, giving them some certainty of what is to be expected. A plan additionally enables a manager to appear as thought they have put some idea into what they are doing.

2. Allocate Resources
Numerous projects and tasks struggle in light of the fact that there are no perfect individuals accessible to take the necessary steps. Without a plan, you will never know how many individuals you need or even when you might require them. This implies that you will be stuck in an endless circle of 'We will know the answer when we get there'.

Things to Ponder : Your completed personal leadership development plan speaks on where you are currently and where you would head to after this. Thus, revisit the plan frequently, refreshing it and tweaking it as required, so that it reflects where are you on the journey to becoming an incredible leader with perfect leadership skills.

DEFINITION
- Planning may be regarded as an approach to trouble solving. It gives a systematic manner of viewing troubles and developing short- and long-time period answers. It can also be regarded as a decision-making technique used to assist guide choices concerning future desires.There are 5 stages of the Planning Process.

Stage 1: Identify issues and wishes
Stage 2: Develop desires and goals
Stage 3: Develop opportunity techniques
Stage 4: Select strategies and broaden an in depth plan
Stage 5: Design a monitoring and evaluation plan


The advantages of using this sequence of decision-making steps include:
  • Clarification — Serves as a communication tool to inform the community, village or town about future activities.
  • Control — Minimizes uncertainties since the planner must carefully weigh alternative courses of action.
  • Management — A useful method of allocating limited resources.
  • Evaluation — Encourages periodical assessments of progress in meeting intended objectives.

As the person to become a leader,with the power of influencing,we can become the controller of other by manage the good communications between others.Because of that,the strong word with is 'believe' can be truefully be contributed by our good role of model or others.a strong leader have a strong sense of the purpose or direction on certain mission or tasks.

But sometimes,controlling can be dangerous too,because the persona will empower by their own lust and also rules.Be careful and beware because slowly it will  turn you to and unproper attitude and bad on making decision for any progression.

The word influence meaning “the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something, or the effect itself”, given by the google dictionary.

A person who has the higher strength in influencing people can make a change in anything. That person may influence you in various way. This is depends on their strength on influence.

As i mentioned above the changes caused by the influence can be done anything. For example, a person’s slang, appearance, manners, knowledge and more can be an influence.

These influence will only work if it attracts us. For a leader it is very important to have an  influencing mind to lead their team. If not it will turn out to be a failure to the matter which influence us. Influence also can be said as “brain washing”. If it was used in a proper way it may cause only better of us. Therefore, it is advised to use it in that way.


CONTROLLING

The word controlling means, an unchangeable instruction given by someone that we should follow. This controlling action done by the higher officer may cause stress to the person who has to follow it.

Even though, the controlling, principle of a leader also gives out it advantages by keeping people on track and stay on the same line as everyone by not diverting to a different path.

A leader should also be alert that he does not control the employees harshly which might cause them more stress and lead to the unfinished job in time.

The controlling principle by the leader should be shown towards the employees in a way that they should never felt as they have been controlled by him.

The ability to inspire and motivate others by effecting their morale to thrive further is success. A good leader is able to influence their performance to give impact by implementing positive behavioural change. Influencing the others is very important to get the essential result in a teamwork project as its build the awareness of the needa to do the job excellently together to plant the initiative to go forward and the mutual trust in team relationship. Its brings the team a positive vibe to be more hardworking and diligent.


There are many skills and solution to successfully influencing the others such as self-approach or how do you appeals to the others, political savvy, self promotion, trust building and leveraging networks.  To influence people in a right way comes naturally as it can be forced and it must be done in a right way. People need to see you as a role model and able to lead with charismatic and enchance personality and perfect character as a leader. 


Furthermore, to be a leader it is a compulsory ability to work under pressure and control the others. To keep the surrounding and work environment systematically organised in harmony and effective to avoid chaos. Leader plays in such important role to avoid that thats why it is essential in leadership skill.

It is not to control the mind of people and their personal life decision. It is a way and critical thinking on how to counter the defects and negative things that might affect them resulting in continuos negative performance. The behaviour and activity of the others is needed to be drew a line that is must not be crossed as it might turn to failure, and if that shall to come you have failed as a leader.

In management, the meaning of staffing is an operation of recruiting the employees by evaluating their skills, knowlodge and then offering them specific job roles accordingly.

To arrange things such as schedules, work, etc into an ordered and structured manner.
Organizing things also helps make a system easier to be accessed and understand.





*Importance of Organizing
The main point of being organize is that it helps benefit the specialization. While organizing
all the activities for jobs to be done, people tend to become experts over time and help
accomplish maximum work. This way the organisation gets the benefits of the specialization.
Furthermore, it encourages growth and diversification. A systematic division of work and
consistent delegacy of authority facilitate taking up of new activities and meeting new
demands. By being organized, one becomes well prepared for tasks as their required to learn
to be on time for events. It also helps stimulate innovation and creativity. It helps people to
think in a creative manner and to think out of the box to make sure it’s different from others.
Besides that, it helps build a good human relation when the organization is related to working
environment. One is needed to obtain soft skills in order to make sure a task runs smoothly.





*Stages of organizing
Firstly, identify and divide the work. You start by dividing your work into small parts and
identify which member is well suited to accomplish the task. With the division of jobs, work
becomes very smoothly and systematically. Next, you start grouping the jobs and separate the
departments of the work. Related and similar jobs are grouped together under one
department, this way one will not be confused and it will look neat and tidy. Thirdly, you
start assigning the job to people who is capable to finish the task. Each person is assigned to a
duty that matches his/her skills and qualification. Lastly, a report is done. Once a group are
assigned to their jobs, a leader is then recruited, this then helps members under the leader to
update their leaders with their jobs. The leader then makes sure that all task is being
accomplished on time.





In conclusion, being organise is important as it helps one become responsible and well
organised. By having an organised plan and mind set, you become more determined to finish
your task and not procrastinate om your assigned tasks. “There are people who make things

  • For maintaining Co-ordination among the Employees- Staffing plays a prominent role in establishing unity and coordination among the employees. Because it assigns their jobs according to their ability, talent, aptitude, and specializations which makes them involved in their tasks and ensure healthy and co-operative relationship among the employees
