the small but "BIG"

The "Small"??? Why? What is the "BIG" at the Small?
The Small With BIG heart

This is me...Mohamad Aidil Bin Shmsudin , was born in Hospital Batu Pahat , Johor , MY on 26 March 1995....currently now I'm 24 years old <---- seriously not feel like 24 , just feel like 17 only hahahaha 😆. I'm from a middle class family only which is my father work as a rubber tapper (currently now already stop because of health problem) name is SHMsudin Bin Aspan and my mother work as a tailor , name is Lasmi Binti Sarwo. I have 6 siblings including me and I'm the Fifth.

my class picture back in I'm 12 years old
First of all..I think the English session for today already finish hahaha. I need go back to my Bahasa Melayu session now as I don't want to create troble here huhu😆

"SELAMAT DATANG" now our Malay Class will start okay.
Bapaku dengan panggilan "AYAH" dengan ejaan nama "S"H"M"S"U"D"I"N"...tiada huruf "A" diantara "H" ke "M" menjadikan nama ayahku menjadi istimewa dikalangan kawan-kawan. Aku pon tak tahu kenapa, apakah sebab sebenar jd macam tu..hahaha tetapi pernah cikgu bahasa Melayu bertanyakan soalan " Aidil... kenapa nama ayah kamu tiada huruf 'A'?  dengan selamba aku menjawab... 😂😆

Tidak dilupakan insan yg telah melahirkan aku...bonda tercinta iaitu Lasmi Binti Sarwo berketurunan Jawa...hanya tiga pesanan dr beliau :

   1. Belajar..usaha semampunya..yg lain serah pada Allah SWT
       * I'm actually not a smart student...aku akan buat apa yg termampu jer..
even if mak aku oder suruh beli brg dapur lebih dr 3 items...aq dah x boleh ingt item

2. Jangan bergaduh.
     * Sebenarnya aku pon berdarah panas jugak...selalu rasa nak marah je kalau ad org kacau but in
" mak...owg nak gaduh"..but this thing will not surprise her...she already knows her son well
enough. then this is where the "Pesanan" start to be in list.

But the best is....

3. Kena tangkap, tanggung sendiri. 😆

Sunset at sea

Assalamualaikum and Good day seafarer

Here i am continue on sharing my story about my sea life. The topic that i want to share for today is about sunset.

As you all know and love when seeing sunset at any beach.Mesmerize by the beauty of the scenery that makes you feel at ease and calm.Watching sunset is a therapy for those who suffer from depression and heartbreaks.I know because i've been in that situation.

But for me as a deck cadet officer onboard, the sun is use for many purpose especially for navigation.Fascinating isn't? My officer trained and teached me the art of navigating using the sun as we seafarer called it celestial navigation.Using the right equipment onboard to take the bearing of the sun to get the position of our vessel.Cool right? Not many job got the chance to apply nature as the tool of their work.So my job normally starts at 1800 when the sun is about to set, taking the bearing of the sun to calculate the sunset time by using azimuth method. The best part of it as a muslim i can calculate my prayer time using the sunset calculation. For me,watching sunset at sea is the most amazing thing in the world. The scenery is way different than watching it at shore. To see it you must go to sea.

How i miss this moment onboard  MT ORKIM POWER

For the past 1 year time at sea holding the rank deck cadet onboard has taught me to become a competent person and skillful training officer.I'm very grateful to have such an amazing officer especially Malaysian Officers from ALAM.I hope that one day i'll be like them or maybe better so that the legacy will continue and put the malaysian name well known worldwide.
Thank you for reading my blog, that's all from me today.Sign off

                                   si Tanggang Derhaka

source : google

Introduction - Tanggang Si Penderhaka Kepada Orang Tua Nya

Nakhoda amat suka dengannya kerana dia rajin bekerja. Lalu, Si Tanggang pun diambil sebagai anak angkat. Apabila Nakhoda menjadi uzur, maka Si Tanggang dilantik menjadi nakhoda baru. Dia dipanggil Nakhoda Tanggang.

Si Tanggang cekap dan pandai berniaga. Namanya menjadi terkenal.

Sambil mengangkat kedua-dua belah tangan dia berseru “ Oh, Tuhan! Tunjukkanlah kepada Si Tanggang bahawa akulah ibu kandungnya.”
Tiba-tiba petir berdentum. Angin bertiup kencang. Kapal yang sedang berlabuh itu terumbang-ambing. Ketika itulah, Si Tanggang berasa kesal. Dia sedar Tuhan telah memperkenankan doa ibunya. Dia akan menerima balasannya kerana telah menderhaka.

“ Oh, ibu! Ampunkanlah Tanggang. Tanggang mengaku, Tanggang anak ibu!' teriak Si Tanggang.
Akan tetapi, Si Tanggang sudah terlambat. Gelombang yang kuat memecahkan kapalnya. Apabila ribut reda, kapal Si Tanggang menjadi batu. Semua anak kapal juga bertukar menjadi batu. Si Tanggang dan isterinya turut menjadi batu.

What is so special at Batu Caves ?

Batu Caves

source : google image

Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia.

The cave is one of the most popular Tamil shrines outside India, and is dedicated to Lord Murugan which is theTamil God Muruga. It is the focal point of Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia.

Batu Caves in short also referred as 10th Caves or Hill for Lord Muruga as there are six important holy shrines in India and four more in Malaysia.

Batu Caves was promoted as a place of worship by K. Thamboosamy Pillai, an Indian trader.

source : google image

He was inspired by the vel-shaped entrance of the main cave and was inspired to dedicate a temple to Lord Murugan within the caves. In 1890, Pillai, who also founded the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, Kuala Lumpur, installed the murti (consecrated statue) of Sri Murugan Swami in what is today known as the Temple Cave. Since 1892, the Thaipusam festival in the Tamil month of Thai (which falls in late January/early February) has been celebrated there.

Wooden steps up to the Temple Cave were built in 1920 and have since been replaced by 272 concrete steps.

Of the various cave temples that comprise the site, the largest and best known is the Temple Cave, so named because it houses several Hindu shrines beneath its high vaulted ceiling.

In August 2018 the 272 steps were painted in an extraordinary colour scheme, with each set of steps painted in a different range of colours.

The most common place for tourists to see the monkeys in Kuala Lumpur is at Batu Caves. As tourists enter the complex and climb the 272 steps to reach the temple, the monkeys wander around seemingly oblivious to the humans. Some tourists feed them fruit or nuts while others snap photographs. The monkeys aren’t scared and often appear to beg for food.

Hi guys,Good day seafarer

My first post will be about my seafaring life working on a tanker ship.My vessel is a product tanker 7000 dwt new coastal voyage flagged Port Klang Malaysia. As a deck cadet onboard. It was a hectic life and full of unresolved experience that life cannot describe. For short, working at sea is totally different from working onshore.

During my 6 month contract,i have learn so many things and most of it are related to what i’ve learn in the academy. From theory to practical was hard at first but as my parents said “kayuh slow slow you’ll get there eventually “.

MT Orkim Power is the name and my post title is her call sign. A 106.68 m in length and chartered by Shell South East Asia.Maintaining her was hard but she is a good vessel.Lesser problem than my previous vessel.Enough about the ship, now i’ll tell you about my life as senior deck cadet onboard.

First day onboard as a cadet i must report to the superior which is the master and chief officer.Taking over the duties of the off signed cadet as per company manual. The chief officer will assign me to do watches and assist the OOW (officer of the watch). My first 3 month i spend duty with my third officer from 4-8 and my final 3 month was with second officer. All was nice and they are knowledgeable and very competent with their work.I’m so blessed.Spending the whole contract with guided and taught by the chief officer was very stressful yet so amazing because taking the knowledge of the first mate.It was truly awesome being a cadet of an great chief officer. As usual morning daily work I followed The Bosun and all the deck crew to do maintenance to the ship.

On 8/1/2019 I signed off from her and I already miss her and all the people who taught how to become a seafarer.Hoping for the best and all the knowledge and experience i will cherish. In shaa Allah. There’s a lot of story i wish that i could tell in just one post but maybe I’ll tell on my next post.

Last but not least thank you for reading my story i hope you enjoyed it.It’s not much but there’re more to come. Sincerely pen off from your friendly neighbourhood seafarer.
